One Step at a Time

We're slowly but surely trying to patch the Democratic Party of Pike County together. One step at a time. This week's step was relatively simple and basic -- opening up a P.O. Box. Why do we need one of those? Simple. How else are you going to mail us a check?

Mail it to:

The Democratic Party of Pike County
P.O. Box 1086
Zebulon, GA 30295

Just to be clear about it, the money will be used to build the County party. Not the State party. Not the National party.

I'll be honest (while I'm being blunt.) I'd much rather have you show up at our monthly meeting and pay your dues like the rest of us. We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 7 PM. Right now, we're meeting in the back room of A Novel Experience, on the courthouse square in Zebulon. It's comfortable and it's cozy. You'll feel right at home, just like we do. The dues are just like sending us a check -- voluntary. We ask for 5 bucks a month.

So, lets review. On Thursday evening, August 9th, at 7PM, you'll walk into a cool bookstore, have a seat in a plush chair, drink a cup of coffee and drop $5 dollars in when we pass the hat. For the next hour or so you get to talk with like-minded people about important issues. It's like being at Starbucks. Only better. You get to vote. And make a difference.

But if you can't make it, how about sending us a check? It takes money to win. And you want us to win. Otherwise, you wouldn't be reading this.

Don Brown -- Chairman
The Democratic Party of Pike County.
